ACNPC Study Guide Review

The ACNPC Exam is offered by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Certification Corporation to offer graduate level nurses certification in helping patients with complex, acute, or chronic illnesses.

Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for APRN Certification programs offered by NCSBN in order to take the test.

The ACNPC Exam is a computer based exam with an allotted 3 hours to take the test. The exam is composed of 175 multiple choice questions. Candidates will be graded on 150 of the questions, and 25 of the questions are used to gauge future performance for the ACNPC Exam.

Candidates can register for the exam at any time. A $100 processing will be assessed for rescheduling the exam, as well as cancellations. Candidates must register for the exam at least four days in advance of taking the test.

These are just a few of the topics the exam questions may cover. It will be essential to review for a period of up to six months prior to the exam. The application process can take up to 90 days to receive admission to the exam, so this would be ample time to review and take practice exams.
