The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is an exam that is used to measure the scholastic aptitude of students about to enter the School of Nursing. This must be taken on the same semester when the student intends to apply for the program. For example, if you are going to apply in fall, then you must take the TEAS in February. If you are going to apply in spring, then you must take the exam in July.
If you want to take the TEAS, you must complete the requirements early. Submit the application form for the nursing program and the TEAS registration form, and pay for the exam at your chosen school. There are schools that allow you to mail these requirements.
